1991
National Foods is created through amalgamation of dairy and food related businesses with brand names and histories dating back to the 1800s
2000
Australia's milk industry is deregulated
2007
Japan-based Kirin Group acquires National Foods
2008
Lion Nathan acquires US wine import company, Cumulus Wines, creating Lion Nathan Wine, incorporating the company’s owned wine brands and distribution company Fine Wine Partners
2009
Kirin Group acquires remaining Lion Nathan shares and assumes 100% ownership of Lion Nathan and consolidates its Australasian businesses by forming Lion Nathan National Foods and appointing a local Group Leadership Team and company Board
